Detailed Guide to Thailand's Visa-Free Entry Policy for Chinese Tourists: 30 Days
Thailand announces a permanent visa-free policy for Chinese tourists, allowing stays of up to 30 days per entry. Learn about the details of the visa-free policy and important entry requirements.

The Thai government has announced a permanent visa-free policy for Chinese citizens starting in 2024 3. Chinese passport holders may enter Thailand for stays of up to 30 days per visit.
The visa-free policy applies to short-term visits for tourism, family visits, and business. Upon entry, travelers must present a passport valid for at least 6 months, round-trip flight itineraries, and hotel reservation confirmations.
Note that visa-free entry does not guarantee unconditional admission. Thai immigration officers may deny entry to travelers who do not meet the requirements. We recommend preparing all necessary documents in advance to avoid issues upon arrival.
If you plan to stay in Thailand for more than 30 days or intend to make multiple trips, you must apply for the appropriate visa type. Mizou can assist with long-term and multiple-entry Thai visas.
